Our Dutch Study Programs

Conversational Study Courses

Beginner- This course is aimed at students who have no or very basic knowledge of the Dutch language. By the time students have completed the study course, they will be able to introduce themselves, conduct basic conversations about topics like family, hobbies, etc. as well as expressing numbers, times and dates, asking for directions, ordering food and asking questions. The students will also learn about the Dutch culture, values and habits, from Sinterklaas to the poldermodel.

Low Intermediate– The Low Intermediate requires previous knowledge of Dutch before starting the study course. During the course students will learn to communicate more freely in Dutch on daily topics. As well as learn basic grammar and practical conversations. After successful completion of the course, students will have reached the European Reference A2 level.

(High-)Intermediate: Available upon request.

Dutch Private Lessons

Culture Yard will assign the right teacher for you to build the perfect program to address your learning needs.

Moving to The Netherlands

Culture Yard offers consultation on immigration and working in The Netherlands. We also provide training for the civic integration exam.

About the teacher

Hanneke: Culture Yard’s Dutch teacher, Hanneke came to Beijing in November 2010 and was recruited as a Dutch teacher at the Western Academy Beijing at the Dutch school. She received her Bachelor in social work in Leiden, Holland. Hanneke speaks Dutch, English and German
