Description of Russian Study Programs
The intensive program of Russian language study is presented in three main levels (Elementary; Basic; Advanced) divided into sublevels. Each sublevel is characterized by gradually increasing complexity of grammar and vocabulary and lasts for 54 class hours.
In addition to learning the language, our program also focuses on the study of cultural aspects of the countries where Russian is spoken, with the help of which the students can not only understand better the functioning of this language, but also the mentality of people who speak it.
Elementary level (A1):
Elementary level is the course which is designed for people who have no or very basic knowledge of the Russian language.
This course will focus on setting the correct pronunciation of students, the study and practice of elementary grammar, language constructions and acquirement of the basic vocabulary what is set out in 45 grammatical topics.
Having finished this course, students will be able to introduce themselves, to engage in dialogue presented in a question-answer form with native speakers towards the daily topics and situations such as: weather, family, shop; they also will be able to express numbers, dates and time.
Basic Level (A2, B1, B2):
This course consists of 30 grammar topics and can be regarded as a key step in learning the Russian language. After acquiring the three sublevels of the course (Pre-Intermediate; Intermediate; Upper-Intermediate), each of which includes 10 grammatical topics, students can build a conversation in Russian using grammatically correct complete sentences, and also apply their language skills in writing for example in composing a letter and a resume.
Advanced level:
This workshop is aimed at people who have already studied the main grammar (Basic level) of the Russian language and wish to continue to improve their language knowledge by reading literary texts and discussion them with the other students expressing their own opinion.
