Chinese Calligraphy In Beijing at Culture Yard

The noble art of Chinese calligraphy  has been around for thousands of years yet over the past few decades many different forms and styles have emerged from the hands of new famous artists and writers from all over China. True talent in calligraphy was once considered one of the most worthy qualities a man could have. Of course this is still the case, yet now-a-days Chinese calligraphy is used for many different purposes and is studied as an art form all over the world.

Join us in discovering one of the oldest and most beautiful traditions in China by attending Culture Yard’s Chinese calligraphy class and learn how to write your own script by the end of the course.

During calligraphy workshops, you will learn the basic knowledge of Chinese philosophy and how to use Four-Treasure to make your own calligraphy work. We will also study the different styles of calligraphy in Chinese history for example the Kaishu, Ouyang Style.
