Luna Sima Solo Art Exhibition

free art exhibitions in beijing

Chinese born Japanese painter Luna’s paintings intoxicates us with her childlike imagination depicting the world as an idea made of mysterious pieces of organic and natural wonders. Her oil and acrylic paintings portray a setting of harmonious nature between the forest, the earth and the universe around it. The serenity Luna exposes through her paintings is going to be exhibited in Culture Yard’s gallery to welcome in the spring.

“All of this beauty is not out of reach but existing in our deep soul without us knowing. Just like everything in this world, they’re always with us.” Luna Sima

Luna Sima was born in Liaoning, China and moved to Japan when she was five years old. She always had a passion for art, yet never pursued her dream until she graduated from Waseda University and moved back to China to become an artist. Luna enrolled in Tsinghua Art College once she arrived to Beijing, and took the one step closer to one day hosting her own exhibition. In a city full of pollution and chaos join us on March 11th for the opening night of Luna Sima’s Solo Exhibition: ‘Always With Me’, to escape the gray city life and experience her vision of the world and the nature which we coexist with.
