Culture Yard welcomes you to join our one-day photography workshops with award winning photographer Peter Carney.
Peter Carney is an award winning photographer with over five years experience working in Asia. The photography workshops will help students grasp the fundamentals of photography give them confidence in using their camera and encourage them to develop their own unique photographic style. The workshops set in a historic hutong are taught in a relaxed manner and involve an introduction to techniques and followed by shooting and editing sessions in the surrounding hutongs and historic area. Each student will be given one on one time during the edit sessions to allow for a comprehensive learning experience. Throughout the shooting sessions all the locations will be introduced by Echo Wang to ensure the students have a thorough understanding and are able to communicate with the locals.
- 10-11.30 Introduction to the fundamentals of photography talk
- 11.30-1.30pm Shoot session
- 1.30-2.30 Lunch
- 2.30- 4pm Edit session
- 4pm-6pm Second shoot session.

1 Hour Talk- Photography with Peter Carney
Due to the success of Peter’s one-day workshops, he has teamed up with Culture Yard once again to hold a series of short lectures and demonstrations on professional photography. He will use his extensive experience to give his best tips and advice on the often difficult practice of capturing the world in all it’s glory.
Whether you would just like to improve your own photographs, or would like to embark on a career, this talk is for everyone. No need to bring your own cameras, just come with a passion for photography and a mind willing to learn.
